Partnering with our local Elementary School…

Our church family partners with Jason Lee Elementary School, across the street, and provides support & resources to struggling students and their families. We tutor students at our Morning Reading Club, and provide Friday Food Boxes & Thanksgiving & Christmas Baskets to students & families who are in need. We also have an Angel Tree with gifts for the children, and we hold a very special Christmas Dinner & Party for them. If you have a heart to serve our community, there are many ways you can make a difference in the lives of these children!

Morning Reading Club

Tutor elementary students, at the church, before school, one or two mornings a week, November-May. We train!
Tutoring takes place from 7:30-8:30 AM Tuesdays and Thursdays. You may tutor one day or both days.
You don’t have to be a teacher.  The curriculum and activities are fun and simple.
Tutoring starts November 1, goes to Memorial Day and follows the school calendar for holidays and vacations.
